Some still think it’s just politics as usual and we must vote for the nicely groomed, politically-correct, career politicians we are fed by the party hacks. Even the ones which say all the right things (if you look deeper you’ll see by their record they are fakes). They say what we want to hear, then betray us when they get into office. You know them because they’ve been on the political stage for years. You voted for many of them in the past, believing their lies.
A year ago many on this list thought people like Ron Paul were absolutely nuts. He is a real kook, I heard often. Glenn Beck is scary, I heard. The libertarians have some good ideas but they go too far.
It has become clear we need to replace our elected officials with just such revolutionaries – people who are absolutely (insanely) driven to enforce the constitution, return integrity to politics, return to sound money policies, repeal all non-constitutional laws, and re-establish liberty for our citizens. We have no chance to repeal Obamacare and get this nation back on track unless we completely change our way of thinking and our actions. Sending emails, writing letters, and making phone calls are all well and good, but won’t cut it.
If I had proposed a year ago that Ron Paul, Glenn Beck, and similar people should be considered for president, I would have been chased out of most homes. These days, it is abundantly clear that we need to wipe out the current crop of professional politicians and replace them with fanatics who really mean it when they say “Give me liberty or give me death”. Anything short of that and we will fail. There can be no more compromise.
We must not only elect people who make the right promises; we must call them out when they lie, when they go back on their promises. A few pitchforks seen waving in the night might get the idea through their thick skulls. I can only think of 3 people in politics who aren’t blatant liars (Ron Paul, Tom McClintock, and Chuck DeVore). Maybe you know one or two others. The rest do not deserve your time, your ear, and certainly not your vote. It’s time for a new crop of leaders. They CANNOT be chosen by the criteria we have used in the past. Think about that. What are your voting habits? What are your assumptions about politics? Break them.
Most of the tax dollars you send to the federal (and state) government are used to ruin the economy, take away your liberties, ruin our education system, promote a false fiat currency, prop up foreign entanglements, grant greater powers to the politicos, and so on. Obamacare will ruin healthcare even more than the current government regulations and manipulations have done – and you know it. Immigration reform will be amnesty without border control, no matter what we are promised. Cap and Trade will be an economic disaster – even worse than the stimulus, takeover of the auto industry, cash for clunkers, mortgage loan modification program (HAMP), and other actions taken by our so-called leaders. Think about that the next time you feed that perverted, evil regime with your tax dollars (sales taxes, income taxes, registration fees, etc.). Can you find ways to lower your tax footprint? You must begin to think of starving the tumor which infests every aspect of your life. Can you trade or barter here and there instead of buying new? Can you use gold, silver, or other valuables sometimes instead of fiat currency? Can you donate stuff to charity to lower your taxes a little? Can you buy on eBay? What else can you do to pay less to a government which uses nearly every dollar to ruin our nation and suppress your rights?
Time for play is over. We played nice. It didn’t work.
